brachypelma albopilosumI have had tarantulas in my house for 17 years, this all started when my father brought home a Brachypelma albopilosum (Honduran Curly Hair). We had her for 14 years until unfortunately she passed on. Shortly after that I went out on the search for a new tarantula and soon ended up with 32, I have down sized my collection to 13 at the moment as space is an issue.

I have created this site to instruct on tarantula husbandry and to show my modest collection to the world. This site contains information about the tarantula, the species I keep, what is involved with keeping tarantulas, instructional pages on handling and maintenance, tarantula breeding and many links and resources to help anyone wishing to begin the hobby.
I hope you find this site very informative and feel free to contact me with anything regarding the site.

Brachypelma Bohemei (mexican beauty)

Brachypelma bohemeiTo the left is the first tarantula I brought after the loss of my Brachypelma albopilosum (honduran curly hair). This is the tarantula that kick started me in the hobby, and I believe everyone should have one of these in there collection.

Heteroscodra maculata (togo starburst baboon)

Heteroscodra maculata (togo starburst baboon)To the left is the tarantula that I had to have the second I saw one, In my opinion this is one of the best looking tarantulas in the hobby.
